A new week of tour announcements is here. The first festival to get confirmed this week is Holland’s Fortarock.

Iron Maiden will headline the one day festival Fortarock set to take place at the Goffertpark, Nijmegen in The Netherlands on Saturday May 31st.

Other bands scheduled for the festival are death metal veterans Carcass, Sabaton, Trivium, Ghost, Behemoth and rockers Alter Bridge.

Iron Maiden played a sold out show at Amsterdam‘s 17.000 capacity Ziggo Dome this past summer. Nijmegen has played host to a number of legendary events such as the Dynamo festival.

FortaRock was headlined by industrial metal stars Rammstein this year. Over 50.000 people turned out for the event.
