On Tuesday October 30th, tickets go on sale for the spectacular Rock in Rio festival 2013. In this week’s massive Feature Friday, Brazilian fan Fabian Oliveira tells the tale of Iron Maiden’s legendary appearances in Brazil, from their first visit in 1985 through to the next Rock in Rio.
Sales went through the roof when the tickets for Iron Maiden‘s German leg of the Maiden England Tour 2013 went on sale this Saturday. The Frankfurt show sold out within 24 hours, completely outselling Justin Biebers concert at the same venue.
In a recent interview conducted by American radio show Spreaker, Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain talks about the upcoming tour, weather or not there will be a new album, and who really wrote Run to the Hills.
Iron Maiden will bring their spectacular Maiden England Tour to Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 25th of June next year. In addition the metal icons has added another Swedish stadium show in Malmö after selling out the 50.000 capacity Friends Arena in Stockhom within a few hours.
Fresh from the oven – Iron Maiden will make their third appearance at the legendary Rock in Rio festival on 22nd of September 2013.

Bruce Dickinson was recently engaged as a motivational keynote speaker at an IBM conference in Stockholm earlier this week. He finished of his speech with explaining why the Iron Maiden song Run to the Hills became a hit single.
According to Blabbermouth.net Bruce Dickinson will open the Oxjam Chiswick mini-music festival at the festival’s flagship venue The Hogarth Health Club in Chiswick, West London, England on October 20.
