Bruce Dickinson Fights Cancer

As you all probably know, Iron Maiden management has announced that Bruce Dickinson is undergoing cancer treatment. UPDATED March 25!

We at Maiden Revelations would like to join Maiden fans worldwide in wishing our favorite singer a speedy recovery. Click here for more information about his situation:

The medical team expects to give Bruce the all clear by late May. In the meantime, all Maiden activity is obviously put on hold. Laz of the Iron Maiden Fan Club has announced that issue 100 of the magazine, which was due at the end of this month, is now aiming for late May instead.

UPDATED February 28: Nicko McBrain gives an update on Bruce’s situation, and also confirms that the new album is ready to go but that everything is obviously on hold at the moment.

UPDATED March 25: The official site is reporting that Bruce has been examined by his specialists over the past few days and that he is on course for a full recovery, pending final confirmation in May.

  1. Obviously, this is saddening news to all of us Maiden fans but, if anyone is going to beat this and bounce back, it’s going to be Bruce. Thoughts are with the Dickinson and Maiden families. Get well soon, Air Raid Siren!
